Maharashtra Project Affected Persons Rehabilitation Act, 1999.
An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to the rehabilitation of persons affected by certain projects in the State of Maharashtra and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Maharashtra state government has passed a bill allowing slum dwellers in Mumbai to sell their allotted flats within five years, benefiting approximately 2.5 lakh flat holders in the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) projects. Previously, slum dwellers were restricted from selling their SRA flats for 10 years
Once the beneficiaries are allotted a redeveloped property, they cannot sell or give it for rent until the lock-in period of five years ends. If the beneficiary sells it after five years, the State government is entitled to get a share of the sale value..

Hi, I'm a PAP person too and they have asked us to submit the documents.
1. What are the required documents?
2. What is the minimum area that should be alloted to PAP units.
