Dear Experts,
My father has a plot of land in his name. My father has passed away couple of years back. The tax has been paid regularly.
Since the land is little away from where I am residing now I wish to sale the plot. I am the only son of my father.
Kindly advise the procedure considering my case.

Dear querist, if your father died intestate and your mother is alive, your mother and you are the legal heirs and hence both of you shall execute the sale deed. Is there any buyer? Any verbal or oral agreement with buyer? Consult a senior Document Writer or a lawyer of your area and get the sale deed drafted.
