Sale of property - original documents

Hi -  I sold the land to third party and registered it in Sub registrar office, in Hosur, Tamil nadu.

Currently the Sub registrar holds the original partition deed and original release deed documents, should i collect the documents back or it will go to buyer of land or it will stay in sub registrar office?

It is required to be handed over to buyer.

Buyer has tight to get the documents from Sub Registrar  Office.

The original partition document and release deed are laid in Sub Registrar Office and will be returned to the person who signed to receipt of the document at the time of registration or to the executants only.  Hence if you are signed at that time you can take the documents from the SRO and then hand them to the buyer.

The original documents are to be handed  over to the buyer.
