Swami Sadashiva Brahmendra Sar (Nil)     14 June 2009

Satya Sundaram

The central idea inherent in Indian philosophy and culture is 'Satyam  Shivam Sundaram'. Shivam stands for benevolence;goodness.

In my view, Shivam is a compound of Satyam and Sundaram. The truth is often stigmated with bitterness. It is because of incopmleteness of knowledge and prejudiced training of our mind. The truth can never be bitter. It is always beautyful.  When truth is seen from this poit of view and it is presented in beautyful manner it will always produce Good and benevolent results i.e. "Shivam". Thus, Satyam + Sundaram = Shivam. Lets worship Satya Sundaram.
