I have filed the case for section 9 and in response my wife has files section 24 against me and the court passed the order agaianst me 10000 Rs/ Pm from the case filed. Shall i withdraw the case ? Could you please provide me any alternative so that i do not have to give this money

The order of maintenance will have to be paid by you till the date your section 9 HMA petition is pending in the court, after you withdraw it, the order too will become infructuous, but till that time you have to pay the amount that is due from you.

whatever she ask for maintenance for that you have to file the counter against her claim, and you have to say your earnings and then basing on your financial status court will pass the order.If court passes the order beyond your financial status you can approach the apex court.
