When soem one speaks out derogatory words for a person in writing then his reputationis harmed or not?

When he has given something in writing in the Court then is it NOT harming teh reputation?

Chetan Joshi (Advisory/Advocacy)     17 January 2013

Reputation is harmed when something is addressed to the public. Public is referred as audience or reader.Petition contain allegations which are heard in a court...If one charges someone for rape, the petition will not form a part of defamation. But if the allegations are publicised and the charges are proved false, then it will amount to defamation....
