Hello, Experts,
My mother bought a piece of land from a seller in 1989 and this land was legally registered. However, the same seller sold this piece of land to another buyer in 2015.
When we have taken the Encumberance copy, we go to know about this activity.
The EC copy clearly shows the name of the same seller in both the transactions(in 1989 and 2015).
Please advise how to proceed with this case and how to get this addressed.

You can ile a criminal comlaint against the seller for the acts of cheating and fraud, before that you talk to him and ask him to reverse the entry by cancelling the sale deed

The sale transaction of 2015 is illegal and invalid for which necessary legal remedy as advised by experts and your lawyer has to be initiated against the vendor (seller).

What are the steps as legal owner we need take in order to ensure there are no hassles legally and others in the future?
What is the process for cancelling the sale deed? Is cancelling the sale deed is enough?
What is the process to get the 2015 sale deed cancelled legally?
Please advise.
