No court required for selling the property which is in your and your minor son's name as you are the natural guardian after your husband's death , can sell that property on his behalf along with your own self .

Father is natural gaurdian and he has right to sell the property for minor benift .mother is not natural gaurdian because she inherits her husband's property if he dies intestate.if it is ancestral property minor sons gets birth right so she has no right to sell property but she is only gaurdian. So she has to approach court and satisfy it and seek permission of court before selling it.

If u sell the property without consent of court minor son may challenge when he attains majority in court. The limitation is three years from 18to21
