@Meyappan

Sessions Court or any other high court, deals the matter as an appeal. Now when the accused has been convicted by a lower court, then first you have to file for Bail Application in session's court. If granted then it will contain a restriction/condition that you will appear in every hearing failing which your bail would be cancelled and till you appeal is disposed off you would be behind bars.

This is same in every court may that be High Court or Supreme Court.

All the best!!
