I am retired person. My son recently purchased a plot by availing a home loan from a leading private bank in Chennai and loan is expected to be completed by the year of 2019.
Now my son want to settle the plot in my name as I have given him a huge amount of money as "Down payment" to get the plot.
can you please let me know the procedure to settle the property in my name?

as per your query you son is paying the loan and closing the account by finances given by you then he can transfer the rights to you but again the stamp duty has to be paid
once your son pays the amount and closes the loan then the documents submitted to bank will be given back and the while changing the hypoticated format to your sons name he can transfer in your name \
check with lock document vendors near your local sub registrar office
