2 years ago, some people rented the house next to ours. There are 6 people including 2 children. The children stay awake late till midnight or even 1 a.m. and play around shouting and shrieking in the bedroom which is right next to ours.We put up with it for 6 months and then finally requested them to stop making suhc noise. They closed their bedroom windows for a month, but then it was back to the same situation My mother has a heart problem and 3 times she awoke at midnight when the children shrieked unable to breathe. We complained to the owner and finally lodged a police complaint. But the neighbours claim that since it is children, you cannot say anything to us and we will do what we want.
They have also threatened to file case of mental abuse against us by calling in the police. My mother has severe health problems including thyroid and diabetes and is close to 60 years. Can you please suggest what we should do??
Te owner was supposed to leave 3 foot distance from our wall, but the distance is less than a feet. He is also no longer responding to our calls.
