Share of daughters in mother's property

My maternal grand-mother bought a house in Chennai in 1927. My mother, the only child, inherited that after the death of grand-mother. My mother died in May 2014. We are 4 brothers and 3 sisters. What will be my share of the house left by my mother. Kindly advise me as to how to get that to me and to my other two sisters.

All siblings are entitled for equal share. You can seek your share through a partition suit.

since your mother had died intestate each of the legal heirs will get 1/7th of the share in the property.if your father is alive then it will be 1/8th share
