Slanderous allegation without any basis

I received notice from an advocate on behalf of a person whose sole intent is to mentally harass me. In the notice the allegations made are all slanderous in nature and cannot be substantiated. I have all the proof to prove those allegations wrong. This all has been done with malicious intent since I am doing good in my business and he is my competitor. It is like everything is going smooth in your life and suddenly someone puts obstacle to create nuisance for none of your mistake.

Could the knowleagable forum member suggest me what to do. I have thought of replying to the notice and refuting the allegations made by providing all the proofs. Should I file the counter case for unnecessarily harassing me mentally or wait for opposite party to respond once I have replied to the notice sent.

If possible for you share notice at Djaa.legal@gmail.com

Instead of replying the notice move to the Court in defamation case (civil for damages and criminal for defamation) through a local prudent lawyer, if you can prove by conclusive evidence(s).
