I read that under section 65B, sms / WhatsApp chats are allowed to be considered as legal evidences.
I want to know if this applies to all sections of law? Can it be applicable in labour law cases where a person can show an SMS as evidence from employer if employer denies the same?
I want to preserve one such sms as legal proof in a matter which either may take years to conclude or may surface years after and preserving the original mobile device on which sms was received for long may not be practical. Is there some process which can be followed to get a verification from the telecom company or some court who can validate the genuinity of the sms received and certify that this is valid which can be used at any time later as evidence if needed?
