Specific Performance & Contempt of Court

Hi,

a person has logged a Civil suit to seek specific performance in 2002. he has commited contempt of court in 2008 in another criminal matter. does this person has a right to claim specific performance relief. If no, then plz give me the section, act , or any case law in relation to this matter. Thanking You

The proceedings for specific performance have  nothing to do with the contempt.  The right to get specific performance exists.

i agree with mr deeksh*tulu........ comtempt is in criminal matter which is different from civil matter.

Contempt of court in another criminal matter has nothing to do with civil procedding.

Every suit will be decided on its merits and demerits.
