Is stamp duty paid again on the Modification Deeds made for Leave and License Agreements where the LAnd lord has to be changed?

If the land lord is changed you have to make another new leave and license agreement with the new owner.

what if the change of landlord is due to Merger or Demerger under section 391-394 of the companies Act, 1956. Then modification will suffice or new Agreement will have to be prepared.
How to terminate the earlier Agreements if new ones are to be executed.
Is the same case with employee contracts also ?
