Standing Counsel for Candiate should file Affidavit.

Why do you want the counsel to identify with his clients. Why should be he a party to his client's statements and declarations. 

Even in pleasding filed in court, the verification/affirmation is only made by the party and not by the counsel.

Prakash Sir, Standing Counsel for the Candidate makes a false declaration of his client the candidate, and if we really want to declare the real assets of the Candidate in public interest, Counsel should also make an affidavit to prove the veracity of the statements made in declaration of the Candidate's assets.

I agree with your views and further i want to know,About the declaration of assets , if a declaration of assets by a candidate if proved FALSE can the Election Commission do something about it? or what else the remedy can we challenge in court of law?

 The  advocates/Counsel will prepare the  affdiavit according to the instructions  of the  party . Why the Advocate shoul file an affidavit .

Is it Certificate of Correctness of the Contetns of the  Affdiavit ??? .

The Advocate will  Attest the Affidavit with a declaration that the Deponent Admitted  before him about the correctness of the Conents of the Affidavit .

Firstly, there is limit to election expenditure, and also true assets of the Candidate has to be shown in public interest. but all these are just paper formality, AND TRUE EXPENDITURE AND Candidate's assets are never reflected in a true sense. What is really shown is really an ant hill ignoring the Mountain. And in this manner Corrupt practices goes on with impunity in collaboration with all the party concerned in such preparation. Law is there but it exist in Statue book only not in real life.

                              The best way to overcome all these Election corrupt practices and to have effective and vibrant Government, we need to switch over to Presidential form of Government.
