Stopping resgistery at cto ghaziabad

Hi,

I would be grateful if I will get quick response from this esteemed group.

During the registery of my flat , I signed my possession papers at builder's office and they have sent those documents to CTO Ghaziabad with the registery DD , so that my legal registery documents can be prepared.

Now, I am planning to sell my flat and till now I haven't received the call for resgistery from builder, It will be great if I can get my DD back because I want to transfer my property to someone else by paying INR 25000
to builder as per the agreement with them.

Builder is saying he cant do anything as DD for registery is lying with CTO Ghaziabad Office, how can I get my DD back , please advice ?

Pl file a RTI at CTO , seeking information on your property papers and you will get a reply from them within 30 days.

Thanx a lot for your reply Vishnu ....Is it possible to stop this by any chance by filing any application ?

If your papers have not been taken up for processing by CTO, then you can seek a change in the applicant's name with the consent of the builder.

Along with the RTI on your application status, just send a request letter via RPAD asking them not take up this matter as you would like change the applicant's name on the approval papers.
