Succession law

A is Grandson of  Y who before his death make a Newspaper publication about his self acquired property that A''s Father and A along with other legal heirs no one has any right over his property . At that time A is minor and later he filled suit for declaration for his share in his Grand father property against his Grand Mother. Is A has the right to file suit for his share in anchestral property. As after the death of grand father property belongs to grandfather is anchestral property for A. 

Please help with legal views. and case citations if any

If A's father lost all right, where is question for any right on this for A's son, however, share one more important information, if A's grand father made or executed any document other than news paper declaration.
