Sucession certificate for propery resale

Dear Sir,

I hold an apartment which was purchased few years back from a reputable builder; the property at the time of purchasing has got all legal verficiation done. The land was owned by a person who died Inestate and subsequently the property was transferred to his wife and son which once again are dead now.

Now I am planning to re-sale this property and the buyer is looking forward for succession certificate which was not applied by his wife/son. Is there anyother way to get this now ?

Your advice on this case is very much appreciated.

Thanks

suresh raj

Dear Sureshraj,

I can't understand why a succession certificate is necessary in case of immovable property.
