Suicide threats by wife by writing letter

hi friend,

just wanted to discuss one aspect of my case, my wife was adamant on leaving the house, so in good faith, my dad offered to drop her to her place, once she reached there, she started shouting that my inlaws have pushed my out of the house, and so my FIL sweettalked me into coming here and now no one is coming to take me back. after 10 days , all the gang of her relatives barged in our house and made a big scene,that she is being pushed out of the house deliberately, and threatened us with police action, we told them she wanted to go so in good faith my dad dropped her, but they were adamant on this, on the contrary, they produced a hand written letter saying that our daughter was about to committ suicide, but we found this letter and we saved her life.. now on the basis of this she has filed a DV case. and after a year, she has mentioned in a letter to the police station that she was about to comitted suicide, though she never attempted anything in real

for every small thing, there were threats of suicide, we were all fedup of this bulls*it

the fact is: she always wanted to drive away my parents from the house, and prevent me from meeting her, so she can occupy the whole house for herself, so she tried all the tricks up her sleeve to drive them away from my house, she used to get irritated whenever they wanted to stay with me, time and again she used to call her relatives and tell them that my parents should stay seperate from this house.

i want to know, will this so called 'suicide letter' cause any problem for me in the future.

I differ from above replies:

Reason:

1. A sucide Note is treated when the writter has attempted to do sucide and he/she is dead or been saved.

2. Mere writing a suicidal note and after this her parents and relatives shouting for sucide doesn't hold any suffice.

3. A sucidal note accompanied by medical proof goes with verdicts and it is treated as attempt to murder and compelling other to do sucide on so on so reasons.

4. If mere sucidal note treated as threat then Daily I will write a suicide note and post via Speed post to police station and and my in-laws house.

The benefits you have:

1. Take that sucide letter copy and write a complaint letter in your nearest police station regarding common criminal intension of the group,Concipiracy and Forgery done by your wife and her parents and relatives to drag you in false cases.

2. This letter should be treated as mental cruelity in your divorce case---------a added evidence for your case.

3. Use this letter even in Her false DVA 2005 case to show her malicious intensions.

No, because suicide note comes in picture when a lady has committed suicide or attempted for the same.Mere telling that she was attempting suicide and they got this letter and the relative saved her doesnot have any legal value...All the allegations which she will put against you and your family need to be proved by her in the court of law beyond reasonable doubt to get you convicted.

@sufferer and sunischai sachar......thank you guys very much, you have really given a sense of relief, as many people were giving contrasting replies, but your reply bears logic and sense..you are right, there was no sucide attempt as such only threats with the intention of blackmail to separate me from my parents.
