what happens on Summons Appearance day. ? please advice what i should?

Depends upon the nature case I.E. Civil or criminal. Share nature of case?

It appears it is a criminal case you should appear and ask for grant of bail.

498a can't go to court directly, without being it deliberated in CAW and would have been arrested.

All i am asking what happens on appearance of summons in the court.

Needadviseon498a,

Different things can happen in different states and depending upon how case has been filed. Also would depend upon whether you have been granted AB/ Bail previously or not.

e.g. in Delhi: Upon summoning you would be asked to furnish Bail Bonds

in UP: Upon summoning you would need to move Bail application

in Bihar: Upon summoning, you should file AB petition in Session Court, as in Bihar most of 498a are filed as private complaint case and the chances of arrest are high.

To get better advise, please give complete facts.
