Tenant threatening to commit suicide mentionin my name.

Hi All

I have been having issues with my tenant who did not pay electricity bills, maintanance and rent for 6 months. and Iis not giving commitment to vacate the house.when ever I ask he says one week one month etc.

Now recently on a telecall he threatened me that he if we ask him to vacate then he will commit suicide and write a letter mentioning my name. Fortunately all my conversation is recorded. what should i do? Since i want to sell my house and if this person does anything stupid people will not prefer to buy.

Send him a notice asking him to settle the balance rent.if he is not abiding send him a eviction suit thst u need the building for ur bonafide personal use.even if he is committing suicide after all these u dont need to worry unnecessarily

We had Given him the Notice in the month of November and after that we also tried to solve this amicably and he assured to vacate by jan 31 but still he has not we have recorded al;l the conversation till date that we had with him.

Since he is threatening suicide should we file a police complaint to be on a safer side. If we do so will this affect us in our proceedings in court.
