Tender pardon

Q.1 when the accomplice who had been granted pardon, truely stated every detail of offence in his evidence and finally the accused is convicted , the court :-

a) is bound to acquit the accomplice

b) may either acquit or give lesser punsishment as reward for helping the judicial system

c) can never acquit and should always provide lesser punishment

d) none of the above
