The date of MOU coming into force

can a party to MOU request the other party to keep MOU on hold for some period after signing it?

Dear Mr. Kulkarni,

You are bound by the MOU you signed. If you want you can cancel it as per terms conditions provided. There is no law to hold the MOU once signed however you can request other party.

Can you request the other party to hold on for specific period to perform as per terms of MOU?
