The negligent and biased decision of CIC

Page no : 2

R.Ramachandran (Advocate)     08 December 2010

Dear Mr. Rajeev,

You can go on argue endlessly.

But the fact remains that under RTI Act only can only ask for information and not reason.

I have already indicated to you in my earlier reply dated 16th October that as to what is 'information' and what is 'reason'  while giving  point wise views.

I do not deny that the information can be asked for in a questionnaire format.  BUT in the Questionnaire format what can be sought is only 'information' and certainly not the 'reason'/explanation.

As regards the decision in Udai K. Nath, versus Department of Post., Appeal No.ICPB/A6/CIC/2006 February 27, 2006,  please understand that each of the decision is in a particular context.  The same cannot apply in a completely different context.

Rajeev Kumar (Professioanl Social worker)     11 December 2010

Dear Advocate Ramchandaran

Arguement is not my purpose. My purpuse was to get the information from SAIL. That SAIL did not provide me . I Remained aggreived.  I followed your suggestion too. I had drafted another RTI application and dispathced to SAIL. Kindly review my RTI application. which is attached herein. Then give me feed back.

Other experts/ members are also requested to give their feed back.

Rajeev Kumar

Thanks and Regards
