Time period for counter file

Sir,

We filed a writ petition 10 months back regarding our job regularisation in CAT, till date no counter file filed by opposition in court.  Can anyone please tell how many days generally given for oppsotion to file a counter file or wat court can do in this matter.

30 days from the date of receiving the notice,but court can grant 90 days in case of any delay
