Writ rules in all the High Courts in the Country are same and as per rules peition with affidavit is required to be served to the respondent within 24 hours before admission, and I am sure the same is with Bombay High Court writ rules in the original side. At times busy advocate forget to served copy before admission, but such lapses are not a big deal and court always give time to lawyer for serving the copy to respondent. In your case, admission of writ petition wihout copy being served to you is shrowded in mystery.Engage a lawyer to assist you.
