Transfer property

Sir,

We are three brothers and a mother. We owned 1 flat in the name elder brother. My mother was not available at the time of registration.  So  we decided to made registration in the name of elder brother. Now i want to transfer this flat to my mothers name.  So what is the procedure for it.  Is it possible to transfer this property. What would be the cost for it?

Depends if you want to gift it wil be a gift deed that you wil need to draft a sale deed if she is paying the consideration but for both pay stamp duty and registration charges on that  deed depending on your state stamp laws.

First of all, you elder brother shall be ready to transfer the flat in favour of your mother and basing on the location of the property, it can be advised, which mode of transfer is cheaper to transfer the property in favour of your mother.
