Transferring property from mother to son

Hi,

My mother had purchased a house in Gurgaon (in Unitech's South City 2), with some financial assistance form me (for which there is no official evidence) few years ago.

Anyway, now she will like to transfer the property in my name. I have only one sibling, an elder brother, who is also agreeable to the transfer of property to my name.

What is the simplest (and possibly cheapest) way to get the property transferred?

thanks,

Learning

Dear y2km21,

Let ur mother execute a registered gift deed in your favour.  There is no other cheapest form of transfer for u to get a valid title.

yes gift deed is best option .

in the alternative  have your mother make a will in your favour where she bequeaths the flat  to you .since your brother does not have nay objection you may not face legal problems in future

Your mother excute a Gift Deed / Sale Deed in your favour and registeration this deed at registrar office.
