I would like to know relevant laws or sections which would be applicable to the following situation :-
X no of employees are deputed from factory A to factory B (both owned by the same company as UNIT I and UNIT II) for work on a daily basis. They have to travel by public bus or third party tempo traveller to reach factory B. In a scenario of an accident of the bus or tempo traveller by which they are travelling, what legal responsibilities does the employer have towards the employees hurt in the accident.
If the bus or tempo traveller was owned by the employer, then what is the responsibility legally?
