Unclaimed property

My friend's family  has an agricultural land 5 acres in their native village and was given on lease.  He has 5 brothers and 2 sisters and all of them have relocated  to city 50 years ago. After relocation  only his father used to visit the village and collect the lease amount yearly once.. His father expired 10 years ago intestate.

No one is bothered about this land for 10 years and now they want to dispose the property and they do not have any details/records/lessee, about the land and also the location. They only know the village name and when contacted villagers, no one has any idea about the location or the lessee.

What is the procedure to to identify their land ?

regards

siva

Try to get the revenue records from the Village Administrative Officer of that particular village or firka by giving complete details about their father.
