the police have filed a chargesheet in false 420 case against my friend. complaiant is ready to settle down. shall my friend surrender to court or shall he go for quashing the chargesheet? i heard quashing success rate is 0. pls advise. should he surrender to court and if he surrenders then can he get bail or he will be kept in jail? pls advise dear sirs.

First apply for Anticipatory bail with the help of advocate.

If the complainant agrees to compromise. Then considering the recent trends - quashing is a sure shot, APply to the HC u/s 482 for quashing o nthe basis of compromsie.
