It is well settled that citizenship change has no effect whatsoever on matrimonial cases including divorce, 498a, DV etc. The citizenship at the time of marriage is what counts sometimes and even that is not counted for divorce because Hindu marriage that was performed in India will always come under the jurisdiction of Indian courts.

If you are ever planning to return to India, then you will have to deal with all your matrimonial cases, both civil and criminal just as if you were still Indian citizen. No difference whatsoever. However, if you do not plan to come to India ever again, rest assured, cases in India will have no impact on you.
