Vacational staff under probation

Respected Sir,

i am working as Group A gazetted lecturer in Delhi Govt and comes under category of vacational staff. In my first of year service i was on probation and deptt denied any vacation (summer or winter) to me . As i did not availed any vacation i asked for 30 days earned leave against that. My deptt says for first year of service i will not be granted any earned leave against non availing any vacation during first year.

Did you apply in writing under proper acknowledgment?

Is the denial in writing and relevant leave rules have been quoted?

It shall be better if you download the rules and show these to your Labor Law Cosultant/Service Matters lawyer/Law firm.

You may proceed as suggested by expert Mr. Kumar Doab. If you have not applied for leave in writing, you may do it and get their reply in writing or atleast an acknowledgement for your application. Then consult the Association/Union or a local lawyer on your issues arising after that.
