I have constructed a house during 2005 and amount against construction workers welfare fund was Rs 11835 /= . Now RR procedure has been started and on enquiry it has been confirmed that I need to pay Rs 34387 + 5% collection charges . Could you confirm any SC verdict regarding the interest rate which should not exceed 100% than the capital amount . Kindly help. Attaching available documents, some documents are in Malayalam .Seeking expert opinion .
