The Govt of West Bengal vested about 18 bighas of land in around 2000. We went to district court and the decree was for us in 2006. We have to leave around 8 bighas of land i.e. govt can vest only 8 bighas not 18 bighas.
but till now BLRO office is neither releasing the extra land( 10 bigha) they listed for vest, not acquirig the 8bgha land they can take. The issue is pending for years. My grand father died. So, the children of my grandfather couldnt come to partition the property and acquire in their name till now.
1) What is the procedure to solve the matter?
2) Can I do some RTI and know why it is being so late? will it help somehow to solve the matter sooner?
