Voluntary retirement procedure

Can anyone please help me understand what is the process for taking voluntary retirment for APSRTC conductor?

My mother (Age: 51 years) is working as a conductor for APSRTC since 2001 (Date of joining). She has been regularized for duties since 2009. She is a diabetic since past 7 years and due to the age and the type of work the job involves, she is suffering from severe joint pains in knees and ankles. she is unable to sleep at nights due to the pains after every day's work. APSRTC doctor does not see this as a case severe enough to take voluntary retirement.  can someone please help me understand how she can apply for voluntary retirement with existing medical condition?

Thanks in Advance!

query is not clear =============== she is regularised since 2009 so the earlier service may not be qualifying for pension as she may be ad-hoc/daily wager during the period ========== please be clear with facts ============== if an employee does not have 20 year sof pensionable serivice then only medical ground can fetch pension to him /her ============ if employee has 20 years pensionable service then no medical opinion is needed for seeking VR ====

your query also does not disclose whether she has given anything in writing or whether she had at any time taken leave on medical ground.

I wish to remind you another case of APSRTC coductor who had hidden eye ailment and landed in trouble.

Hope you shall take the post positively.

The Doctor of APSRTC may be right.

Diabetes and Joint pains may be due to lifestyle/postural defects.

Lifestyle modification can help control and recover.

IN each city there are good diabetologist/Rheumatologist/Endocrionologist/Orthopaedic Surgeons/Physiotherapist/Dietician-Nutritionist, that can help.

As already suggested the employee may look for long term benefits that can support her after retirement.

On the other hand the employee can also go for opinion from specialists in Medical College/Civil Hospital/Super Specialsity hospital etc
