I am fighting a 498a at the moment, when it reaches trials does the petitioner needs to prove the dowry was asked? I read somewhere that taking and giving dowry both are crimes and knowing the corrupted law just in case based on the judgement can we file another case on thier family for giving dowry? what is the tentative duration before the Trial starts?
