The respondent didn't appear consecutively for 4 or 5 times and now the status of the case can be seen as "Await order".
What does that mean ? Any support is appreciated.

What is the Case No.? Which Court?
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate) 16 May 2023
Await order has nothing to do with the absence of the litigant before court.
Await orders may be if any the court has adjourned the matter due to the orders to be passed in the pending petition hence the hearing is posted for 'await orders'.

It is better to consult your lawyer as no such orders are generally used.
