What does uncontested--ex-parte order means

Dear Sir ,

       My father had given a Case regarding an Dispute on Land , now the case status is disposed and Nature of Disposal shows "Uncontested--EX-PARTE ORDER " , what does that mean sir , can we sell the property now , kindly suggest.

since the res[pondent had not contested the case the court has given exparte order in your favour.

Since your father being the petitioner, and the case your father have filed been not contested by the respondent that means the other party of this case, you have got order in your favour. You have won the case un-contested. However the other party to this suit can file a case to vacate this ex-parte in a Ld.Court higher to that of this Court's. So it's the best time to do the necessary job what you have not done just because of this case. Work now celebrate victory afterwards.
