Where have you foun this phrase marital income?

I was reading something and came to know that marital income is an income generated by husband and wife during the subsistence of their marriage and whatever they purchased from that income is known as marital property in America. I just wanted to know whether same applied in Indian law too and if yes then under which law

I've never come across the phrase in the limited number of law books I studied.

I know of no court considering marital income while deciding the amount of Maintenance or Alimony.

My knowledge, however, hardly matters.

The Query ( viz., under which law ) still remains unanswered.

generally it happened in India that husband works outside to meet family expenses and wife take care of home. but when dispute arose that time wife contribution to marital income becomes zero
