What is the full procedure for filing divorce and lesser fee

My friend was married in 2010 to an Airforce employee. She wants divorce from her husband who rarely gave her any attention and barely resided with her for 4 months. She is living separately from him since 2016.

However, she has not filed for divorce yet. It is not clear to me that her husband is agreeable to give her divorce but my queries are how much time it would take for divorce to be finalized if:

1.) He agrees for mutual divorce?

2.) He doesn’t agree to give divorce?

Here are some more questions apart from the above which I asked before in this site:

3.) If you are an advocate in this field, and practice in Delhi/NCR, (she is in Ghaziabad), can you take up her case?

4.) Since she is in Ghaziabad, where can she file for divorce?

5.) Can the divorce be filed online?

6.) Are there any lawyers who have the policy of price discrimination as she does not earn much and she is a government school teacher? She is ready to give proof that she is a government school teacher.

7.) Can you suggest some ways which can get her divorce quickly or within a year? Her husband is ready to hold talks and come for a meeting face to face for an open dialogue discussion.

8.) Can she be atleast engaged before getting divorced, if not married?

9.) What is the complete procedure to get divorced in India?

1.) He agrees for mutual divorce?   WIthin one year

2.) He doesn’t agree to give divorce?   Depends ,can take years

Here are some more questions apart from the above which I asked before in this site: 3.) If you are an advocate in this field, and practice in Delhi/NCR, (she is in Ghaziabad), can you take up her case?  You can check the panel lawyers in this forum(listed members)

4.) Since she is in Ghaziabad, where can she file for divorce?

Under section 19 of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955 Court states that every petition for divorce can be filed before a District Court within the local limits of whose original civil jurisdiction the marriage took place, respondent at the time of presenting the petition resides, or the parties last resided together or where petitioner is residing while presenting the petition but respondent resides outside the territory to which the act extends

5.) Can the divorce be filed online? May be in Delhi

6.) Are there any lawyers who have the policy of price discrimination as she does not earn much and she is a government school teacher? Check with the lawyers there are many lawyers to consider the monitory conditions of client.

She is ready to give proof that she is a government school teacher.

7.) Can you suggest some ways which can get her divorce quickly or within a year? Only mutual divorce if quick

Her husband is ready to hold talks and come for a meeting face to face for an open dialogue discussion.   better to avail the oppurtunity

8.) Can she be atleast engaged before getting divorced, if not married? 9.) What is the complete procedure to get divorced in India? No. be careful don' jump in fire from the fying pan.

Dear querist,

Mutual consent divorce is best advice of your problem, contested divorce take lot of time, money, energy and valuable time of life.

For other answer better consult local advocate.
