I have one querry regarding the maintenance under the hindu law. One predecessor father namely Ramachandra who died in the year 2010 whose first wife died before his demise i.e on 2005. after the first wife death the deceased Ramachandra have concubine at his home namely Rekha. the rekha was previosly married with husband pandurang. Pandurang was died in the year 1982 and with the marrital relations with his first wife namely Rekha the one daughter was born namely Sunita.
now the question is Rekha alleged was resided with Ramachandra at his home but no any marrital relations happen or no any documentary evidence of marriage between Rekha and deceased Ramachandra. After the death of Ramachandra his concubine lady allegedly resided at Ramachandra house. Now the Rekha is old lady and claim maintenace from Ramachandra sons as allegedly step mother.
Whether the lady Rekha claim maintenance from Ramachandra sons ?
The lady not claimed maintenace from her real blood duaghter Sunita.
so the lady rekha entitled to ask maintenance from Ramachandra sons?
