Why Justice Department is over looking this issue?

Page no : 3

Anil Agrawal (Retired)     17 January 2010

We were within striking distance of Lahore in 1965. In 1971, with 90000 POWs of Pakistan in Indian hands, we were in a far superior position to bring her to her knees.

We had Tashkent Agreement in 1966. Gains of 1965 sacrified.

We had Simla Agreement in 1972. Gains of 1971 sacrificed. Pakistan was never in such a weak position and had no bargaining strength.

Now we have a festering sore. Either the foreign powers won't allow us to settle it the way we want or our Government is too weak to take hard decisions.

Our political masters pull the Generals back from the front and you are talking of appointing a Crack General to solve it.

NO ONE WANTS TO BE DOMINATED BY OTHERS - this is the actual problem.

kashmir or telengana; nakshal or hindu terarist; punjab and assam - everywhere decleared issues are different; but the one point is very common that is - NO ONE WANTS TO BE DOMINATED BY OTHERS

Let us not be paranoid. Analyse the phenomenon of growth of Naxalites and then comment.

Agreements are there but what is use? All agreements are violating in one way or the other way. In my view only Army rule can save Kashmir and can control infiltration and safe guard border. I am speaking our internal administration and not in favour agression. If we read the history only army generals control their enemies in all way in their countries.

Due to illtrecy and unemployment. At present they are very less but Government is creating it as a big issue. For political gains they use Naxal issue.

Anil Agrawal (Retired)     18 January 2010

Any thing against the masses will be ignored.

When there was shortage of foodgrains in early 70s, Indira Gandhi asked us to eat potatoes. Tomorrow, the court verdict will be against our eating habits. According to you, Mr. Girishnakar, we should obey it.

With employment India can solve lot of internal issues. I  believe with our Military we may not succeed all issues in India.

But they can also play their role.

In our Armed Forces,  Partiality, Politics and Corruption are more than " Discipline ".

If we trusted our Genarals fully they are worst than our Policy makers.

I do accept their are very good Officers in our Armed Forces, who scarified their lifes for sake of Mother land.

Ladies of the world unite

You have nothing to loose but your husbands.

While it is hardly unusual for the higher judiciary to periodically decry the growing 'gross misuse of divorce laws' in India ( one calling it 'legal terrorism'), it shows a certain class of Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan on Saturday, to speak thus, in yet another anti-male propaganda meet organised by the NCW. He has also made it clear that the misuse was one of the motives necessitating the recent amendments to the CrPC. ( IPC 498a is one of the main reasons for ELDERLY ABUSE in India according to WHO )

However, the higher judiciary will still be accused of hypocrisy/helplessn ess/misandry, unless it answers the following questions :

1.) Why are divorces being allowed to be transformed into 'criminal cases' against the husband, with the primary intent of money-making by the lower judiciary and police, while they have clogged up most courts in India today?

2.) Why are 'divorce cases' allowed to drag on for ages, thus ruining marital and career progress of many a bright youngster in India today? ( Even now, lawyers are protesting the amendments in CrPC - which will rob them of their livelihood! )

The media too needs to be congratulated on creating awareness of such statements regarding misuse of these laws. But it continues its habitual stereotyping of males, ( due to the money pressure from the advertising sponsors, eager to woo the female consumer? ).

1.) It has to stop calling these laws as 'Dowry Laws', since they are primarily used to extort money from the husband at *Divorce*, and have NOT decreased the incidence of dowry one bit ( which incidentally, will happen only when females are given their due share of the inheritance by their own family ).

2.) It has to take into account, the increasing divorce rates in the country,( initiated 90% by the female ), primarily due to the lure of alimony. These divorces are acrimonious by nature, and are sought to be taken financial advantage off, by rich feminist groups, using the media to bad-mouth husbands.
