Widow ofproperty

my father dies in 1980 and left a property for which my mother , my brother ,my sister and myself are the legal heirs

all of us hold an equal share . now my mother and bother died  later , how does the property get divided ?. i have 3 children and 3 grand children ,my sister had 3 children and 4 grand children and my late brother has no children . he is survived by his wife .

please clarify this to me

Dear Smt. Rani,

Your mother's share will go in equal proportion to you, your sister and your brother's legal heirs. You have to get legal heirship certificate from court.

If it is ancestral property then your brother will get1/2+1/8+1/24=2/3,u and your sister will get each 1/8+1/24=1/6 share .if it is self acquired then all four get equal share and after mother's dies intestate.all get 1/3rd share equally.
