Wife surety in home loan, but not contributing

My brother and his wife are having legal matrimonial disputes and are staying separately now. Initially When they were together - my brother bought a house on home loan on the assurance of his wife, that she will also contribute. Now the wife is not contributing anything to the home loan emi. what relief does my brother have? Note that wife just signed as co applicant in home loan documents.
