My husband is working abroad. His dad in india has indicated that he will make a Will favouring my sister in law. Is the signature of my husband required to vailidate that Will. Kindly indicate?

No if the property is the self acquired property of your father in law, concurrence of your husband is not required to will/gift/sell it
