Will appointing beneficiary/legatee as executor ?

Can we appoint one and only benificiary/legatee as executor also in will?

Need to write will and register for only one son and would like to mention son name as executor is this valid or will cause problems in future  ?

it is better to have two executors as if one dies before the will is executed the other one who is alive can perform his duty.the executor can also be a beneficiary

You can also add if Son is not present (God bless him) who shall be beneficiary.
