Dear Dr.I am of the view that before acceptance of the offer the same can be withdrawn and question of invoking the doctrine of natural justice does not arise.

I feel such appointment offer qualifies the concept of invitation to offer If the person is accepting the offer made he is entitled to right to be heard.

Dear Sir,  Before acceptance, ie., joining the company, the offer can be withdrawn.  Further, most of the offer letters impose certain conditions such as production of original documents, medical examination.   Hence, the 'acceptance' of offer takes place only when these conditions are fulfilled.

Members views are requested.
